Symptoms & Conditions
Thyroid Nodules
A thyroid nodule is a lump that forms in the thyroid gland, the small gland at the base of your neck. They're very common, and most turn out to be harmless. Still, since a small number of nodules can be cancerous, any nodule found is worth getting properly checked.
Hypertriglyceridemia
Hypertriglyceridemia is a condition in which triglyceride levels in the blood are higher than normal. If left unmanaged, it can increase the risk of heart disease, stroke, and, in severe cases, pancreatitis.
Arrhythmia
Arrhythmia is a condition where your heart beats too fast, too slowly, or with an irregular rhythm. Sometimes it's harmless and goes away on its own. But in some cases, it may need treatment because it can increase the risk of problems such as stroke, heart failure, or fainting.
Angina
Angina isn't a disease on its own; it's your heart's warning that blood flow isn't keeping up with its demand for oxygen. Usually, that squeezing or pressure in the chest shows up when the heart muscle is working hard, and the blood supply can't keep pace. It's uncomfortable, sometimes scary, and it's your body's way of waving a flag before something worse happens.
Hyperthyroidism
Hyperthyroidism happens when your thyroid gland makes too much thyroid hormone. This speeds up your body's processes, which can cause symptoms like a fast heartbeat, weight loss, and feeling anxious or jittery. It's treatable, but it needs proper diagnosis and care.
