Paediatrics
Expert, compassionate care for every stage of your child's growth- from birth through adolescence.

Integrated Care Model
Our Paediatrics Department follows a family-centered, coordinated care model where paediatricians, paediatric subspecialists, nurses, nutritionists, and child psychologists work together to support every aspect of your child’s health and development. Care is tailored according to the child’s age, symptoms, and individual healthcare needs.
Care pathways are structured from the point of first contact through to follow-up, ensuring consistency and continuity at every stage. Children are assessed comprehensively, with growth parameters and developmental milestones reviewed at each visit.
For children requiring hospitalisation, we provide a dedicated paediatric inpatient ward with parent accommodation. Children who are critically ill or require close monitoring and advanced intervention are admitted to our Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), staffed by trained intensivists and supported by round-the-clock specialist nursing care.
Clinical Focus Areas
What To Expect in the Paediatric Department
- From the moment you arrive: Your child’s vitals are recorded in a child-friendly, non-threatening environment. We aim to minimise waiting times for young children.
- Clinical triage, not a general queue: Sick children with high fever, breathing difficulty, or lethargy are prioritised using standard paediatric triage protocols.
- Communication at every level: Our physicians communicate directly with you/ your child, at an appropriate level of understanding. Play-based interaction and demonstration are used wherever suitable.
- Parents are partners: We encourage parents to participate actively in their child’s management. Parents are free to resolve their queries and express their concern. Good communication and good parent-doctor relationship can be help in child’s management.
- A growth chart and vaccination record: At every visit, we update your child’s growth chart and immunisation card so you always have the latest information.
- Seamless escalation when needed: If your child requires hospitalisation, intensive care, or subspecialist input (paediatric cardiology, neurology, or surgery), we coordinate immediately.
