About Department
Our Department of Non-Invasive Cardiology provides specialised diagnostic evaluation and ongoing monitoring of cardiovascular disease through non-invasive modalities - without the use of intravascular instrumentation or internal procedures. Our clinical capabilities encompass cardiac ultrasonography, electrocardiographic assessment, and external haemodynamic monitoring to evaluate myocardial structure and function, valvular integrity, ventricular performance, and arrhythmic pathology.
Capabilities
- Echocardiography (ECHO) – 2D, Doppler, and strain imaging for valves and cardiac muscle function
- Stress Testing – Treadmill and pharmacological stress evaluation (including nuclear imaging when indicated)
- Electrocardiography (EKG) – 12-lead electrical rhythm assessment
- Ambulatory Rhythm Monitoring – Holter (24–48 hours) and event monitors (up to 30 days)
- Point-of-Care Cardiac Ultrasound (POCUS) – Bedside rapid cardiac assessment
- Continuous Telemetry Monitoring – In-hospital real-time rhythm monitoring
- Pre-Surgical Cardiac Evaluation – Risk assessment before non-cardiac surgery
