Do's

• No special diet or fasting is required.
• You may eat, drink, and take medications as normal.
• Arrive 10–15 minutes prior to the appointment time.
• Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or may be pregnant.
• Wear comfortable clothing without metal around the hip/waist area. Avoid belts, zips, and underwire undergarments.
• Avoid wearing jewellery (necklaces, earrings, piercings) on the day.
• Bring your referral letter/request form and any previous X-rays or reports. • Breath-hold: You will be asked to take a deep breath

Don'ts

• ⚠ Note: Depending on the xray region, you may be asked to remove your top, lower clothing, or both. A hospital gown will be provided. - During the Scan, don't move.
