• No fasting or special preparation is required, Avoid applying deodorant, talcum powder, lotion, or perfume to the breast or underarm area on the day of the scan — these can create artefacts on the image. • Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have breast implants. • Bring any previous mammography or breast ultrasound reports. IF A BIOPSY OR ASPIRATION IS PLANNED
• Inform your doctor of all blood-thinning medications. You may need to pause them temporarily.
• Avoid coming on an empty stomach.
• Bring a companion if possible.
• You may wear a supportive bra on the day for post-procedure comfort.
